We went to the Beach in June and we had the best time! The boys absolutely loved the beach or "the big sandbox" as Coop called it. We are so fortunate that they enjoyed it as much as they did. They are already asking when they can go back. LOL!

Catching Up

Oh me, Oh my how time flies! I feel like I am always playing catch up on our blog! Here are some collages of what we have been doing since October. The holidays kept us extremely!

The boys dressed up as Buzz and Woody. We trick or treated at our church during Trick or Trunk. Mack was not happy and cried the whole time. Coop, however had a blast! My 9th and 10th grade girls and Courtney Cox's 7th and 8th grade girls Sunday school class hosted a vehicle together. We had a prirate theme based on Children are God's greatest treasure! We all had a good time and can't wait for next years fun!

Coop turned 2 on January 23rd and everyone had a blast at his birthday party! We traveled to Tupelo to the Build-A-Bear store, and built bears of all kinds. We had cats, bunnies, puppies, and bears. All the kids warmed their animals hearts and put them in coopies dog so that he would always know they loved him. They rubbed their bears belly so it would never be hungry, rubbed their knees so that they would always need them and lots of other cute little things. When they were done they ate chick-fila and the cutest tractor cake ever! Then on to play at the playground and ride the Carousel! It was a great way to celebrate our sweet little Cooper!

Woah buddy, did we have some serious fun at Christmas! The boys both were so excited Christmas morning! This was the first year that Mack has requested specific items from Santa and Santa really went overboard. Brian said he was gonna have to have a serious talk with him before next year! LOL! Honey gave them the cute leather recliners and trust me, she has already gotten her monies worth out of them because they sit in them every night and watch a movie before bed. It was a great holiday and we were so excited to spend it with all our families!

Mack's First Fish

Mack, Brian & Pop went fishing labor day weekend. Mack practiced casting his fishing line in the back yard for weeks before they actually went, and all his practice paid off. He caught his first fish. He was so proud and so were we! Our little man is growing up!

He gives potty time it's on meaning! Brian found him standing in the potty and he was saying "Peepee potpot". All bathrooms are totally off limits now!

Where & What Have We Been Doing?????

We have not fallen off the face of the earth, but this mama has been super busy. Here is an overview of what we were doing from April until the end of June.

In April, Mack went on a horse ride with Papa

Double Decker!!! The boys loved it and were pooped out from all the fun!

Mother's Day Weekend! The kids made flower pots with their handprints on it for their grandmother and great grandmother. I got a monogram machine for mommy's day, so I put a pic of that on there too.

Mommy had a weekend of fun with some girlfriends at our Jr. Auxiliary Annual Education Conference. I love these sweet girls!

June 4, 2010. Our 5 yr anniversary. We went for a little getaway to Tunica to see Deirkes Bentley in concert. A sweet friend gave us some back stage passes so that we could meet him. It was such a special weekend.

Summer Slip-N-Slid Fun!

June 23, 2010. Mack had his much awaited surgery to remove his kidney. It was initially scheduled for June 3rd, but he was sick with a high fever and it had to be rescheduled. He was a super patient and did everything we asked him to do. He loved the orange popscicles and was really excited that they would give them to you anytime you asked, even if it was 2 o'clock in the morning. By the next day, he was slowly starting to move around and wanting to make funny faces, as you can see in the pics. He did so well that we were able to leave the hospital on the 24th to head home. I am sooooo glad that we have this behind us now. God was so good to us!

I truly cannot believe that my little cooper is already 1 yr old. I picked out his birthday cake based on the one remaining thought that kept running through my mind.... "My how time flies." It seems that just yesterday we were on our first family vacation and learning that we would soon become a family of 4. Then the actual pregnancy flew by so fast that the thought barely had time to sink in before we were being introduced to our sweet little man. I will never ever forget the overwhelming feeling of joy that rushed my body as Dr. White held up this beautiful, magnificient creation that only God could have created so perfectly. I was so happy to actually be able to be awake and see Cooper enter his new world (I wasn't so priviledged with that opportunity when mack was born). All of these feelings rushed me again the week before Coop's birthday and holding back the tears of joy and saddness were sometimes hard and impossible to do. Joy, that we are so blessed to have him in our lives; and Saddness, that the time is moving so fast. I am so blessed to be his mommy!!!

Christmas Eve Fun

This year we started a new Christmas Eve tradition, making a home-made pizza. We had tons of fun. As you can tell, Mack ate his fair share of pepperonis. It was such a memorable time. After we got our pizza in the oven we all had a dance-a-thon around the kitchen. Mack has learned to shake his booty and likes to get everyone else to do it to! It was a wonderful time!

For Christmas from Brian and I, the boys both got chairs to relax in. Coop got a little nod chair and Mack got an Ole Miss bean bag. They had tons of fun the rest of the night climbing on and sitting in their chairs. The picture in the middle of the collage above is one of my absolute favorites! I cannot believe I got a shot of all my boys like this, all looking at the camera and smiling. I should win the noble peace prize for that! HAHA!!

Breakfast with Santa

Mack & Cooper went to a Breakfast with Santa party the first of December. They got to sit in Santa's lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Mack, of course, did all the talking. Brian and I made a quick weekend trip to New Orleans just after Thanksgiving. We went to see the New England Patriots play the New Orleans Saints on Monday night Football. This was Brian's father's day and anniversary present. It was an amazing weekend. We had so much fun! We ate lots of fabulous food and suffered from tremendous bouts of indigestion, but we persevered! Our seats in the stadium were phenomenal. We were on the 26th row up from the field in the corner of the end zone. As you can see, from the picture above, we were able to see our favorite players REALLY well! It was so great getting to spend this quality time with my husband, which is not something we get to do very often since there are 2 little munchkins constantly needing our attention.

Mack attends Early Years Preschool. We are so blessed to have Ms. Rhonda. She teaches the kids so much and they have the best time there. Today was there Indian Day and Feast Day. They had bread, fruit, and popcorn for their feast and made their adorable little Indian outfits.

Ashley Johnson & I attended the Ole Miss Ladies Forum in July and had a blast! I never knew learning about football could be so much fun. We are looking to add some ladies to our group for next year, so put it on your calendars! We got to meet the coaches & players. They taught us how to set up different plays and punt returns. It was super cool! My boys are really gonna think I'm awesome one day when I know all this cool football lingo that usually only guys throw around. Can't wait for next year! Let me hear a rebel yell! Cooper is 6 months

Pooper, as he is known around here, is getting to be such a big boy. He is rolling around everywhere, laughing at Mack's silly faces, sleeping through the night, and working hard on sitting up! He is such a joyful little thing. He just went for his 6 month check up and weighed 17 lbs 4 oz, and was 26 inches long. I can't believe how fast the time has passed and wish I could freeze every memory in my mind forever.

We hung out at BaySprings Lake with the family yesterday. We had loads of fun! It was Cooper's first time on a boat and he loved it! He was sacked out asleep by the time the trip was over. It was Mack's first time on a boat that he will remember. The last time we took him out, he was only 13 months old, and he hated the life jacket and it took him a good long while to warm up to being in the water. WOW what a difference a year makes! That kid was all over the place. He was running to put his life jacket on, and we had to hold him back from jumping into the water before we got in! He was all smiles. We can't wait to go back!

Here are some videos of my little Evil Kenevil yesterday at the lake. I am already thinking about all the broken bones and trips to the ER that we will be making in the future! He isn't scared of anything!!!!

Mack is so fearless. He just wants to do any and everything. As soon as the boat stopped in the middle of the lake he wanted to jump off the side. So we eventually pulled over to a little beach area and he jumped until his mommy's arms got tired and then he jumped until his daddy's arms got tired!

Mack wanted to ride the tube the minute we put it behind the boat. He called it a "race car". So Brian rode it with him. They had tons of fun! The video is bumpy, but it wasn't me it was the boat.

We love the subdivision that we live in. It is only 5 minutes from Walmart but our back yard is a pasture. Before Mack was born Mr. Heffner rented it out and there were cows all over it, but then a couple months after Mack was born they were gone. Brian and I both have been wondering if there would ever be anymore cows because as you all know, Mack is obsessed with farm animals. A couple of weeks ago the tractors began bailing the hay and Mack was so excited. "Bales of Hay"! He shouts it over and over every day. Last night we got to meet our new friends, the cows. Today we took Mack out to the pasture to get some Hay so that he can feed the cows. Will post pictures of feeding the cows later.

Okaloosa Island Vacation

Cooper is 4 Months

My sweet little Cooper was 4 months on the 23rd of May. I cannot believe he is growing up so fast. Before I know it he will be as big as Mack. He is such a social butterfly, smiling all the time and laughing. He loves his big brother dearly. They are so sweet together. I am thinking that Coop will be rolling over in the next week or so. He has been trying really hard to get it done over the last couple weeks. We are all so in love with this little man!

We love our backporch time. In the afternoons we all go out there to chill out from the day. The only problem is the sun is so bright back there so we all need our glasses. Even Cooper wears some of Mack's old ones. As you can see, they are too big for him and move all over his face, but he is so laid back that he doesn't really care. I love these boys so much!!!!

Mack loves to have his picture made with Cooper. A couple weeks ago after church he wanted me to make their picture together, so I put Cooper in Mack's lap and took the sweetest photo. Mack turned 2 years old on Friday, April 17, 2009. I cannot thank God enough for every minute that He gives me with this amazing little boy. Some people will say that their glass is half empty and some will say that it is half full, but I say that mine is overflowing, and it has been ever since this love came into my life. There are no words to describe how I feel when he runs to me, puts both hands on my cheeks, and says "a mama shug (sugar)" and then plants a big wet one right on my mouth. I am so fortunate and blessed that God chose me to be Mack's mom. Happy Birthday to the sweetest most loving child. Cooper is 3 months

Cooper turned 3 months this week. It was his first week at daycare and mama's first week back to work. I think the first day was probably harder for me than it was for Coop. Mack is taking very good care of him at daycare. He tells everyone "my poop" when they ask him whose baby coop is. And, yes I know you are laughing but that is what he calls him, "poop" or "pooper". I hope it eventually changes. We are all so in love with this little man and cannot believe he is growing and changing so fast. I feel like everytime I blink my eyes life hits fast forward.

Very Ritzy Italian Chicken

Brian and I found this chicken recipe and we absolutely love it. I've been telling my mom I was gonna share it with her, so i thought I would share it with everyone. It is super easy, my son loves it, and it is so delicious! Hope you all enjoy but beware this is not for those of you dieting unless you want a splurge!

Very Ritzy Italian Chicken

3 whole chicken breast
2 eggs
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs ( or regular and you can season yourself)
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3 slices of mozzerella cheese (or 1 slice per piece of chicken)
1 pint of heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste

preheat oven to 350.
dip chicken in eggs. place the bread crumbs in a shallow bowl; coat the chicken in the bread crumbs. In a large skillet, heat the oil until moderately hot. Place the chicken in the frying pan andd brown ligthly on both sides. Remove from pan and place in a baking dish. Top each breast with a slice of mozzerella cheese. In a saucepan, mix together the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. cook until mixture is hot and has thickened a bit. Pour over the chicken and bake for 45 minutes.

My New Hobby

Okay, I know what your thinking; "Like she needs a new hobby!" Yes, I agree two kids under the age of two, a full time job, and junior auxiliary duties just aren't enough. I need something else. Last April I got my first sewing machine, and in the fall I took my first sewing class, and then I was hooked! First, because you would flip your lid if you knew how inexpensively you could make your own kids clothes, second because you get tired of your kid looking like everyone eleses on the block, and third because sometimes you just need a creative outlet. Sew, I cannot get enough of the blogs that stay-at-home moms have started to support their craft and their choice to be at home with their children. Wish I could do the same, but my husband would not begin to hear of that idea! I added a link list to some of the cute blogs. Check them out and support these women!

Double the Trouble - Double the Love

Our boys love to gang up on us, sometimes with love and sometimes with trouble. Last monday night, our JA chapter had it's projects supper and that meeting can sometimes last forever. I left both the boys with Brian and told him I would be home in at least 2 1/2 hours. Well, needless to say, they really poured it to him. Cooper cried the entire time I was gone (2 hrs). When i walked in the door, he was sitting in his bouncy seat screaming to the top of his lungs, dressed in only his diaper. Brian said he tried everything, held him every way imaginable but he just wouldn't stop crying. The reason he didn't have clothes on - he cried until he threw up all over himself, brian, the floor, and the kitchen cabinets; and brian said he wasn't going to dress him just so he could throw up all over himself again! Hahahaha! Mack was thankfully not too much of a handful, but Cooper made up for the both of them. He just wanted his mommy because hr of course stopped the second i picked him up. I love these moments because then my husband really learns to appreciate me!

Cooper is 2 months

Cooper was 2 months old last Friday. He is such a good baby. He got a good 2 month check-up, where he weighed 11 lbs and 14 oz., and was 23 inches long. The doc said his lungs sounded great and we were definitely on the road out of RSV. He is right on schedule with his development; trying to hold his head up more, smiling at everyone, cooing every now and then, and keeping his eyes on his mama no matter where she is in the room! He is sleeping great now that we are past the congestion of RSV. He wakes 1-2 times a night to eat. It appears that in the months to come, we may have a thumb sucker. He finds it every now and then, and when he does he goes to town. It just kills Brian and he wants me to take his thumb out of his mouth, but all you mothers know that when they are learning to self-soothe, you don't mess with them. We will fight that battle when we absolutely have too. I am so in love with this child, and every time he smiles I just melt. I have to go back to work in 2 weeks and it will be the saddest day. I dread it immensely!

Da Horsey, Da Barn, Da Hay

Mack loves farm animals. His favorite is a horse. Anytime he sees one he says "da horse, da barn, da hay". All of that means, the horse lives in the barn and eats the hay. Last weekend my dad helped organize a horse ride in Baldwyn. He rode his horse Dusty, and invited us to come over at the end of the ride, so that Mack could see all the horses when they came in. There were probably 50 or more horses there, and Mack was in horsey heaven. My dad is tickled that Mack likes horses, and is already wanting to buy him a pony. WE ARE GETTING TO COME HOME!!! YAY!! THE DR. CAME BY THIS AFTERNOON AND SAID HE WAS DOING GREAT AND WE COULD MAKE HIM COMFORTABLE AT HOME!!!! AND NO I DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES OF OUR STAY BECAUSE OUR CAMERA BATTERIES RAN DOWN!!!

Headed to Lehbonner

Here is the story on Cooper. Monday night was a rough night. He coughed and spit up continually all throughout the night. When we got up Tuesday morning I knew things were just not right. First, Cooper has never coughed a day in his life unless it was related to taking in too much milk at one time during feeding. Second, He is a wonderful morning baby; always smiling and cooing, but not this morning. So as soon as the Dr's office opened I called and left a message with the nurse. Her return call instructed me to make an appointment to see the dr asap and get an RSV test done. The test was POSITIVE. Brian and I had tried so hard to keep the boys apart. We changed clothes when switching between kids and we washed our hands until the skin felt like it could peel off, and all for nothing! This is so disappointing! The Dr. said that Cooper didn't sound awful, but it wasn't great either. Probably the beginning of the virus. He felt it would be safest to admit him to Lehbonner for observation over the next 48 to 72 hours at least. These appear to be the worst of the virus days. By the time he mentioned the possibility of apnea episodes, my bags were already packed. There was no way I was risking anything! So, here we are at Lehbonner, and yes it is 2:00 am. I cannot wait to see the sun rise. Cooper has already had to be suctioned because of all the congestion. We found that the best way to get him to sleep comfortably is to let him sleep in the carseat, so that's where he is now. Brian and I are both sleeping on a couch, so you can imagine how much sleep we are actually getting. However, I am glad we are here. I would not have wanted to go through this night or any of the others to follow without these great nurses. I know I am blessed and I am continually praising God for the comfort He is providing Coop in his moments of rest. Please be in prayer for our little man. I will keep you updated. Love you all!

What To Do For Fun When You Have RSV

I know you all are wondering, "What would I do to entertain my child if he had RSV?" Well here are some really fun activities that we did with Mack this weekend. Because trust me, trying to keep a 22 month old happy and in the house for 4 days straight is a chore. They are so easily amused and you would be amazed at the simple, fun stuff that you can do.

Roast marshmallows in the chiminea

(this was because we could not keep him in any longer, and the next morning he woke up with an ear infection.)
Take a bubble bath until you shrivel up

Put stickers all over a piece of paper and yourself.

If I had to be stuck in the house with anybody for an extended period of time I am glad it was my 3 favorite boys!

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Mack was diagnosed yesterday with RSV. We called the dr's office to get an appointment to come in, and I knew it was serious when they asked us to come through the back employee's entrance rather than the front door. When we got there Dr. Ricola informed us that in children Mack's age it really isn't that serious. It is treated as a common cold with over-the-counter cold medication. However, it is VERY contagious, and can be harmful (requiring hospitalization) if contracted in children under the age of 1 and especially less than 2 months old. OH MY GOSH!!! We have a 7 week old at our house!!! So I am panicked! We have to try our best to keep the boys at least 36 inches apart from each other at all times, and preferrably in different rooms. The virus last for 1-2 weeks typically and we don't know how long Mack has had it. So it is really going to be difficult to keep them from being around each other for the next 2 weeks. POCKETS

Mack is obsessed with pockets and tennis shoes. He thinks every pair of pants should have pockets and if they don't he will continue to say "pockets" as loud as he can until you find him a pair with pockets. He also thinks that he should be able to wear his tennis shoes with everything. Yesterday, I was doing some of Mack's laundry and I noticed that there was a loud noise in the dryer. Brian went to look and see if he could figure out what was clanging so loud. "Just a pair pants with buttons on them," he says. So, after the laundry is done I precede to take the clothes out of the dryer, and what did I find??????? A matchbox car that Mack always puts in his POCKETS!!!! Today it was a car, but I'm sure one day it will probably be a frog, turtle or some other creature. Just hope I find it before it makes to the dryer.

Mack and Cooper are really beginning to bond with each other. Last week Mack stayed home with Cooper and me for 2 days during the week. I snapped this quick picture as I was cleaning up from lunch. Cooper was asleep and Mack layed down beside him and cuddled him up. It was the sweetest thing!

Mack is the funniest little guy! His language skills are really starting to emerge, but his articulation is another story! Tuesday morning he went into the pantry with me to get his breakfast. Our pantry is under the stairs, so it is rather large and a catch all for everything. Brian and I had cleaned up the entry area and pushed the additional items to the back. Mack looked at the items in the back of the pantry, then looked at me and said "A MESS!" I could not help but laugh! Children are so honest!!!

We are now a family of Four!

My how fast times change! Seems like just yesterday I was starting this blog with a picture of Mack Russell Wallis just after he was born. And now, we are adding to our family! This pregnancy went by so fast. I felt like only moments passed between finding out that we were expecting again and meeting our new little one.

Our first couple of weeks at home have been exciting and trying all at the same time. I really forgot how often these sweet little boys wake up to eat! I can't complain though, Cooper is a really good sleeper, waking to eat at night and going right back to sleep. Mack is slowly getting used to the idea of the "baby" being with us all the time.

Our first weekend at home was very upsetting for me. Mack had been going to daycare all week, and didn't realize that our new little fellow would be at home with us all day, everyday, until the weekend arrived. He was very needy, wanting to be held by his mommy, which was almost impossible for me after having surgery. He cried. I cried. It was just an emotional weekend. He now is getting used to the idea of Cooper being with us all the time, and he is being a big help to mommy.

I will have to say that I am so amazed at how marvelous God is. Not that I ever doubted Him!!! But, the love that immediately filled my heart after having Cooper was overwhelming. Who knew your heart could be big enough to love so passionately two of the most amazing little boys? Only God and other mothers could even begin to know or understand. Brian and I are so blessed to have two healthy boys. I praise God for entrusting me with His prize possessions. I can only hope and pray that I live up to His expectations as a mother. I am so blessed!

Christmas 2008

Christmas was loads of fun this past year! Mack was really excited about "HoHo" coming to see him. We spent our first Christmas together as a family at home in Batesville. We are usually running from one house to another on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but started our own family tradition at home this year. Doc even dressed up for the occasion with his Christmas bow. So sorry for the delay on posting; my internet lets me do what it wants to, not what I want to! Love you all.

Trick or Treating Fun

This was Mack's first year to trick-or-treat, and boy did he have fun. Brian and I took him to the nursing home where I work and he trick-or-treated with the residents there. He had a blast and the looks on their faces were priceless. He was the cutest little kangaroo ever. He could show you where his baby was in his pouch and how to jump like a kangaroo. While we were at the Farm, we took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Mack kept saying "ball", "ball", "ball"! There were pumpkins everywhere! He hit them and rolled them and then eventually decided to sit on them. He found a new way of picking just the right pumpkin. The day was so much fun and we can't wait to go again next year.

Fun at the Birthday Party

Jack and Emma-Kate had their birthday party last weekend (Sept. 13th) in Baldwyn. Mack had a blast! The party was at Latimer Park. The weather was beautiful and the playground equipment kept the kids busy all day! Thanks to Aunt Lacy's help, Mack got to play on the playground just like one of the big kids, and I got to capture all the sweet moments with my camera. Jack and Emma had the cutest cakes. Emma's was the Wizard of Oz and Jack's was Thomas the Train. We had a great weekend in Baldwyn, and can't wait to go back again!

On Our Way To Recovery

The past 2 weeks have been rough at our house, and that is part of the reason for no new post. Mack and I have both been sick, and Brian has been our wonderful caretaker.

Two weeks ago I thought I had the stomach virus, but I new I had never had one that intense before. It started Monday night when I got home from work, and by Tuesday morning I couldn't get out of the bed to even make it to the bathroom without thinking I was going to pass out!! My OBGYN called me in prescriptions to help, but nothing was relieving me. By Thursday I had met my limit. I agreed to go to the hospital for some outpatient IV fluids. Man, who knew that sugar water could do so much for you? I felt like a new woman on Friday, even though I still couldn't keep anything in my stomach, and was the color of the Jolly Green Giant. On Friday, a friend of mine that works at Tri-Lakes talked me into getting a couple of test run just for interest sake, and last Wednesday I was diagnosed with SALMONELLA POISONING!!!!! I am still pretty much on the soft foods liquid diet and can't stay out of the bathroom without the help of Imodium, but I am taking an antibiotic now and hope to be on the way to recovery.

Mack got sick Wednesday night after I found out my diagnosis. He has the stomach virus. Praise the Lord he is finally feeling some better. He has gone all day with no medicine for fever and only 4 poops.

The Lord really takes care of His children! I want to praise Him for keeping Brian healthy. One of us had to be able to take care of our little man during his sick times and Brian was such a huge help!

We just found out on Monday that we are having another little boy! I am going to be soooo out numbered in our house. We are super excited! Brian has really been filling Mack in on all his duties as the older brother. I think Mack will be a great Big Brother!!

Mack is really growing! He turned 16 months old today and it feels like he has been apart of our lives forever. He has really sprouted up over the last month. He is trying to imitate everything that we say and has several words down pat. He consistently says: Mama, Daddy, Doc, Dog, Ball, Cracker, Juice, and Done (for All Done at meal times). He has 7 teeth and 2 new ones that are coming through as we speak. He is a very persistent little thing and knows just how far he can push his limits before he is headed for the "bad corner" or a spanking. He amazes us everyday with how smart he is. He loves to open his books and imitate mommy reading them, mow the yard with daddy, and anything that involves throwing a ball. He is definitely all boy! He would rather be outside in nothing but a diaper and sunshades than anywhere else. He is such a big boy and we are so proud of him! God has truly blessed us as a family and we are so thankful!

The Wallis Summer Review

I cannot stand this stinking machine!! I can't get it to upload any of my pictures. I took it to a friend of mine and had it cleaned up but it still has issues. I guess it's my aircard (internet).
Well, here's a quick overview of what the wallis family has been doing the past couple of months. The first week of June, we went on vacation to Destin, Florida. We had so much fun, and Mack absolutely loved the beach and the ocean. If I can ever get any pictures to upload from my computer I will make sure you guys get to see them.
We also found out on vacation that we are going to be a family of 4 in February 2009. Yes, that is right, we are expecting another baby. I am currently about 9 weeks along. I know this is a complete shock to some of you. We wanted to tell everyone but just stuck to the basics until after my first doctor's appointment. My due date is February 6th.
Mack went back to the urologist for his 6 month checkup. Everything went great! There was no change. The cysts are still there and still the same size, but they are not harming him in anyway. This is great news, because it means no surgery for now, and hopefully never. We are on a schedule for every 6 months to go to the urologist, so we will go back in December.
Please forgive me for not posting. Hopefully I will get everything worked out!

Mack's First Day at the Lake

We went to Sardis Lake today with our friends, Brandon & Karen Crumpler and Brian & Katherine Martin. We had loads of fun! Mack was so good! Brian and I were really impressed with how well he did. We got out on the water at 12:30 and came back in around 5:00. So, this was a really long time for such a busy little man. Mack loved sailing in the water in his bulldozer float but absolutely hated his life jacket. He played so hard today, that by the end of his boating trip he had passed slap out.

This is Mack's morning routine. He gets into the cabinet under my bathroom sink and pulls out all the lotion, tampons, travel soaps, etc. And, he doesn't even get in trouble, because it keeps him passified and it let's mommy get ready for work. He is soooo CUTE!!!

Jen's Baby Shower

We had Jen, Justin, and Baby Colton's couple's baby shower last Saturday. It was lots of fun! We ate crawfish and Baby Colton got lot's of gifts. A few of the things he got were, a stuffed deer head (from treehouse toys) to hang above his bed, a lot of books (of which justin was really confused about why he needed so many since he wasn't gonna be able to read when he gets here), and baskets full of clothes and much needed baby supplies! Courtney had some really cute cups printed up that we all had our pictures made with. The cups say "It's A Boy - Colton Michael". Loads of Fun and we missed all who were unable to be there!

Here are the pictures that were previously under the title "I Need Beauty Sleep". I thought Mack was getting a tooth the week of 4/14/08, but ends up, he had a Fever Virus that lastest 6 days. He ran anywhere from 99.5 degree to 103 degree fever all week. We missed the trip to the zoo on his birthday because his fever got up to 102.5. And, you think that would be enough, but this past week the little stinker got the stomach virus. I pray we are all healthy for awhile now. We have all had our share of feeling like crud!

It was an instant connection the moment they met. Mack and Doc are the best of buds! If I am looking for one I can always find the other too. As you can see, these boys love each other dearly. Doc was always the baby before Mack arrived and now he has to be the big brother, but he doesn't always mind. He is sooo good with Mack, and Mack is so rough with Doc. But, Doc doesn't care he just hangs in there with him. We love our boys!!!!

Mack got to meet Harley Kate Crumpler on Saturday when she came home from the hospital. Harley Kate is the new daughter of our friends Brandon and Karen Crumpler. She was born Thursday, March 13, and weighed 6lbs and 9oz. As you can see, Mack really likes her. He wanted to touch her head and tried to kiss her several times. It makes me sad to see how fast they grow up. Just 11 months ago, my little man was that tiny baby. Mack is going to be Harley Kate's stand in big brother.

Our family was really excited about the Super Bowl because we are HUGE Patriots fans! We were devastated by their loss but so excited for all their accomplishments this year!
